The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between time allotted for a new OB patient visit and the prevalence of symptoms of burnout among OB/GYNs in Pennsyl vania, New Jersey, and Delaware, and to identify some optimal length of patient visit in order to decrease physician dissatisfaction. The survey was limited to the tri- state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. We hope the survey can be expanded to a national sample.
